Protection of Vunerable Adults within the Health Care Sector

Brunel’s two courses in the Protection of Vulnerable Adults have been developed with the Support Worker and the Service Manager in mind. Both the shorter 2½-hour course for Support Staff, and the 2-day course designed for Managers ensure that delegates attain a clear understanding of what is meant by abuse, how they might recognise signs of abuse and the action which should be taken in the event of concern. The longer course extends these discussions to consider a manager’s legal responsibilities in terms of protecting those within their care as well as the management issues which need to be addressed including training and supervision of staff.

At the end of both these courses, delegates sit a test to confirm learning and as with all of our other courses are awarded certificates.
